Here's How it Works:
NYSERDA offers cash incentives for residential and commercial grid-tied systems for up to 60% of the total cost of your system based on a per watt rebate.
Think about your home or office; does it have an available solar resource? A south facing roof or ground area with little or no shading between the hours of 9am and 4pm?
Check your electric bill. What is your yearly kWh usage? We use this number to size your system.
Call to chat! We'll ask some basic questions to get a feel for what you are looking for and what is available for you. You'll ask whatever questions you have and we'll be happy to answer them.
We offer services and materials for off-grid, battery back-up, building integrated and mobile systems as well as straight grid tied systems.
Set up a site visit. We ask for a $30 visit fee to cover travel expenses, and we'll let you know if your site is viable for solar or wind, and what other energy saving steps you might want to take.
